Mindful Protection
- Cosmetics & Chemicals: Allow perfumes, lotions, and cosmetics to dry completely before adorning yourself. Harsh chemicals can dull the surface of natural jade, organic pearls, and fine metalwork.
- Impact & Elements: Remove your pieces before strenuous activity, swimming, or entering extreme temperatures (such as saunas or hot springs). While jade is tough, it can fracture under sharp, direct impact against hard surfaces, and chlorine or saltwater will rapidly tarnish silver settings.
Cleansing & Rejuvenation
To refresh your jewelry, gently wipe the stones and beads with a soft, slightly damp, lint-free cloth. Never subject Hetian jade, pearls, or mother-of-pearl accents to ultrasonic cleaners, steam, or abrasive chemical dips. If the silver components begin to naturally oxidize over time, a gentle buff with a designated jeweler’s polishing cloth will restore their bright finish.

What A Flower Is Built Around
The open flower setting and the jade drop beneath it together form a visual metaphor for essence over ornament. 花蕊, the stamen and pistil at a flower's centre, is easy to overlook next to the petals, yet it's the part responsible for the flower becoming fruit or seed at all. Without it, a bloom is simply decoration.
The Part That Does The Actual Work
The idiom 锦上添花 describes adding flowers to already-fine brocade, decoration layered onto decoration. 花蕊 works the opposite way: it's the part beneath the display, doing the quiet work that makes the display possible in the first place. Classical Chinese painting often placed particular care into rendering the stamen precisely, even when petals were left loose and expressive, treating it as the part that had to be right.
The jade drop, plain and unadorned beneath the openwork flower above it, echoes this same idea, substance held beneath ornament. Worn close, it carries a quiet wish to be valued for what's essential, not only what's visible.

We work exclusively with traditional master carvers whose lifetimes are dedicated specifically to reading the natural veins and shaping the contours of hetian jade. Approaching their craft with a reverence that mirrors our own, they ensure the eternal spirit of the stone is preserved in every piece.

From Raw Stone To Delivery
Because we only handle hetian jade, our quality control is hyper-specialized. Every piece undergoes inspection before final packaging and delivery.
STEP 1-3
Initial Inspection
1. Artisanal Carving Check: We look for fluid lines, precise detailing, and a design that elevates the natural soul of the jade rather than fighting it.
2. Surface & Polish Inspection: Hetian jade should feel soft and warming to the touch, despite its hardness. We inspect the polish under magnification to ensure the right luster has been achieved.
3. Post-Carving Stress Test: We perform a final structural review to ensure the carving and polishing process introduced no micro-fractures or stress points into the piece.
Step 4-5
Pre-Shipping Inspection
4. Final Inspection: A senior inspector conducts one last inspection for imperfections, and verifies that the physical piece perfectly matches its accompanying documentation, pairing the jade with its official certificate of authenticity and provenance records.
5. Verification & Packaging: Finally, the jade is carefully nestled into our custom, imperial green presentation boxes. This protects the stone's polish while honoring the spiritual weight of the item inside, ensuring it arrives at your door perfectly preserved.
