The Regal Bloom - Mudan Hetian Jade Necklace
Care & maintenance
Jade possesses a unique relationship with its wearer; the natural oils from your skin gently condition and deepen the stone’s luster over time. Frequent, mindful wear is the finest way to maintain the vitality and warmth of your solid bangles and beaded pieces.
Mindful Protection
- Cosmetics & Chemicals: Allow perfumes, lotions, and cosmetics to dry completely before adorning yourself. Harsh chemicals can dull the surface of natural jade, organic pearls, and fine metalwork.
- Impact & Elements: Remove your pieces before strenuous activity, swimming, or entering extreme temperatures (such as saunas or hot springs). While jade is tough, it can fracture under sharp, direct impact against hard surfaces, and chlorine or saltwater will rapidly tarnish silver settings.
Cleansing & Rejuvenation
To refresh your jewelry, gently wipe the stones and beads with a soft, slightly damp, lint-free cloth. Never subject Hetian jade, pearls, or mother-of-pearl accents to ultrasonic cleaners, steam, or abrasive chemical dips. If the silver components begin to naturally oxidize over time, a gentle buff with a designated jeweler’s polishing cloth will restore their bright finish.

A Flower Named for Its Own Splendor
The peony has been described in Chinese tradition as 国色天香, "a beauty of the nation, a fragrance of heaven," and was cultivated in imperial gardens as the flower most associated with wealth, honor, and prosperity, a rank it has held above nearly every other bloom.
Held Within the Peace Buckle
Set atop the smooth, unbroken circle of a 平安扣, the peony rests over a form that has long stood for safety and steadiness, while the single teardrop above it echoes the old image of a drop of water, a small kindness meant to be carried and returned.
The idiom 滴水之恩,涌泉相报, "a drop of kindness, repaid with a spring," has traditionally described gratitude that comes back many times over. Kept close, it carries a quiet wish for the same abundance to find its way back to her.

A Master's Respect For Hetian Jade
Hetian jade is the historical pinnacle of nephrite jade. It is a material that is profoundly special, historically significant, is believed to carry blessings for its owners.
Known as the "stone of heaven" and the soul of the mountain.
We work exclusively with traditional master carvers whose lifetimes are dedicated specifically to reading the natural veins and shaping the contours of hetian jade. Approaching their craft with a reverence that mirrors our own, they ensure the eternal spirit of the stone is preserved in every piece.
Our deep respect for it dictates how we craft every piece.
From Raw Stone To Delivery
Because we only handle hetian jade, our quality control is hyper-specialized. Every piece undergoes inspection before final packaging and delivery.
STEP 1-3
Initial Inspection
1. Artisanal Carving Check: We look for fluid lines, precise detailing, and a design that elevates the natural soul of the jade rather than fighting it.
2. Surface & Polish Inspection: Hetian jade should feel soft and warming to the touch, despite its hardness. We inspect the polish under magnification to ensure the right luster has been achieved.
3. Post-Carving Stress Test: We perform a final structural review to ensure the carving and polishing process introduced no micro-fractures or stress points into the piece.
Step 4-5
Pre-Shipping Inspection
4. Final Inspection: A senior inspector conducts one last inspection for imperfections, and verifies that the physical piece perfectly matches its accompanying documentation, pairing the jade with its official certificate of authenticity and provenance records.
5. Verification & Packaging: Finally, the jade is carefully nestled into our custom, imperial green presentation boxes. This protects the stone's polish while honoring the spiritual weight of the item inside, ensuring it arrives at your door perfectly preserved.
