Mindful Protection
- Cosmetics & Chemicals: Allow perfumes, lotions, and cosmetics to dry completely before adorning yourself. Harsh chemicals can dull the surface of natural jade, organic pearls, and fine metalwork.
- Impact & Elements: Remove your pieces before strenuous activity, swimming, or entering extreme temperatures (such as saunas or hot springs). While jade is tough, it can fracture under sharp, direct impact against hard surfaces, and chlorine or saltwater will rapidly tarnish silver settings.
Cleansing & Rejuvenation
To refresh your jewelry, gently wipe the stones and beads with a soft, slightly damp, lint-free cloth. Never subject Hetian jade, pearls, or mother-of-pearl accents to ultrasonic cleaners, steam, or abrasive chemical dips. If the silver components begin to naturally oxidize over time, a gentle buff with a designated jeweler’s polishing cloth will restore their bright finish.

A System Older Than the Calendar
The twelve zodiac animals have marked the Chinese calendar for centuries, each paired with its own year and its own body of folklore, drawn on for everything from matchmaking to New Year blessings. Each sign carries a distinct set of associations passed down through generations, which is why the animal someone is born under has traditionally been treated as personal rather than decorative, a marker of the year that shaped them.
Carved Whole, Anchored by Red
Each pendant is carved from a single piece of Hetian jade in the likeness of its sign, threaded beneath a bead of red agate, a colour long treated in Chinese tradition as protective and worn to draw the eye. Together they follow an old pairing of pale jade and warm red, the quiet stone balanced by the brighter bead.
The old wish 本命年，平安顺遂, "in one's own zodiac year, may all go safely and smoothly," has traditionally been offered as a blessing for the year tied most closely to a person. Kept close, it carries a quiet wish for exactly that.

From Raw Stone To Delivery
Because we only handle hetian jade, our quality control is hyper-specialized. Every piece undergoes inspection before final packaging and delivery.
STEP 1-3
Initial Inspection
1. Artisanal Carving Check: We look for fluid lines, precise detailing, and a design that elevates the natural soul of the jade rather than fighting it.
2. Surface & Polish Inspection: Hetian jade should feel soft and warming to the touch, despite its hardness. We inspect the polish under magnification to ensure the right luster has been achieved.
3. Post-Carving Stress Test: We perform a final structural review to ensure the carving and polishing process introduced no micro-fractures or stress points into the piece.
Step 4-5
Pre-Shipping Inspection
4. Final Inspection: A senior inspector conducts one last inspection for imperfections, and verifies that the physical piece perfectly matches its accompanying documentation, pairing the jade with its official certificate of authenticity and provenance records.
5. Verification & Packaging: Finally, the jade is carefully nestled into our custom, imperial green presentation boxes. This protects the stone's polish while honoring the spiritual weight of the item inside, ensuring it arrives at your door perfectly preserved.
